Guest Speaker: Louise Quill- Founder of Tír na nÓg Orphanage

This year we are honoured to be joined by our guest speaker Louise Quill, founder of Tír na nÓg Orphanage, Tanzania, Africa and UCC Alumni. Louise, a 2014 Volunteer Ireland Awards nominee, features in the recently released Kilimanjaro Mama, an award winning uplifting documentary that illustrates how one person really can make a difference. Despite dealing with many challenges, Tralee native Louise Quill continues to transform the lives of the orphaned and abandoned children in Tanzania.

This is the story of how she became their ‘Kilimanjaro Mama’:
