University College Cork and Cork Opera House announce call for 2025 Theatre Artist-in-Residence

One-year bursary of €20k to provide an opportunity for a professional Theatre Artist who is also an international migrant, refugee or asylum seeker.  The residency aims to provide a supportive environment where the artist can freely explore their practice. 2025 Call for a Theatre Artist-in-Residence is supported by UCC’s University of Sanctuary programme.

Major new documentary on Ireland’s coast to air on RTÉ

New series is inspired by award-winning Atlas of the Irish Coast published by Cork University Press. Narrated by Ciarán Hinds, the documentary will explore Ireland’s constantly changing coast. The series will show advances in marine and coastal science to understand and protect Ireland’s coastal and marine spaces.
