Graduate Recruitment
Our Employability and Enterprise Engagement Team can create opportunities for you to engage with our final year cohort and recent graduates. This year we will host a virtual fair on 6th October and can faciliate virtual employer webinars and skills session.
This year, as we pivot to digital, you can engage with our graduating classes at our first virtual recruitment fair, along with virtual webinars, skills sessions, live Q&A events and more. We can also advertise your graduate vacancies, free of charge. If we can support your graduate recruitment in any way, please do not hesitate to get in touch, we would love to hear from you.
Our Graduate Recruitment Team can connect you with our current students and recent graduates. If you would like to promote your opportunities and meet potential candidates, please get in touch. We are currently working remotely and are facilitating webinars, virtual skills sessions and social media takeovers. We can also feature your company in social media campaigns and our monthly student newsletter. We can advertise your vacancies free of charge and target email the classes you want to reach.

Amy manages Works Placement for two unique I.T. degrees co-delivered by the Computer Science Department and the College of Arts. Students’ combination of hard I.T. skills and soft transferable skills make them valuable assets in a variety of teams and industries.
I manage undergraduate and postgraduate placement programmes in the areas of Accounting both practice and industry and Finance including corporate & investment services. I have long established relationships with employers locally and nationally in this sector and am committed to ensuring that our students are work-ready to succeed on placement.
I’m Jillian O’Mahony, students from the programmes I support have had success in a diverse range of work placements in HR, Marketing, Supply Chain, Project Management, Food Marketing and Food Product Development. I engage with SMEs and large multi-nationals to secure placements that work for the employer and for the student. Understanding student and employer needs is an important step in the placement process. I recommend having a discussion with us to identify and connect with students best suited to your business requirements.
I'm Grainne North and I engage with start-ups, SME's and large multinationals to secure placements that work both for the employer and the student. Students from the courses I support secure roles in a diverse range of areas such as marketing, product development, buying, supply chain, quality control, sales, research and sustainability. I work closely with my students in developing the necessary employability skills to enable them to transition to work.
I am a Work Placement Manager in UCC since 2006 and take great pride in helping undergraduate students in the schools of Food & Nutrition Science, Computer Science & IT and Chemistry find work placement. Going forward with recruitment for 2021 I will be working closely with employers and students to help us through these uncertain times.
I am Linda Lynch, Work Placement Manager, College of Science, Engineering and Food Science, with responsibility for The Engineering Work Placement Programmes. An Alumni of UCC, with a background in Recruitment and Careers education. I have over 20 years’ experience of placing UCC students in Industry. Working closely with the Engineering School enables me to support you in recruiting the most suitable student for your requirements.
My name is Yvonne Harding, Work Placement Manager in the College of Science, Engineering and Food Science. I work closely with high calibre undergraduate and Masters students of Biotechnology and Analytical Chemistry helping them to develop their employability skills to allow them to move seamlessly into a work placement position.

I'm Dr. Susan Lyons, Work Placement Manager in the college of Business and Law. I am responsible for the BCommerce work placement programme in UCC. Working closely with industry partners I help to support students secure work placement in a variety of business sectors, these include Finance, Accounting, Marketing, HR, Supply Chain and Project Management to name but a few.
