Process II triumph again! This time at Climathon

The team from second year Process & Chemical Engineering with their Business colleague that earlier in the month won the ESB Case Studies Competition have repeated their success with Climathon, a competition hosted by the Environmental Research Institute on October 27th and co-sponsored by ERI, UCC Blackstone and UCC Green Campus.
Open to both undergraduates and postgraduate teams from all disciplines, the task on the day was to devise low-carbon transport and mobility schemes for the UCC campus that address climate change while ensuring the campus remains accessible for students, staff and the public. The Process Eng. solution was an app that displays real-time positions of public transport and allows users to track their carbon footprint.
