Leadership of Hybrid Teams (Managers/Team Leaders)

Overview:
Mastering remote leadership is about creating a culture of trust and transparency that empowers teams, regardless of location to achieve their objectives and to reach their full potential. The teams and each of its members, regardless of role, should be supported to work equally well in the presence and absence of the respective leader. Remote leadership skills require an additional focus that is not necessarily required for leadership when teams are intact and in the one location. An additional awareness and focus on skills such as:
- Clarity on what and how communication tools are used
- Remote productivity tracking
- Ensuring alignment of team principles for remote working
- Awareness of proximity bias and supporting inclusive practices
- Developing cohesiveness in the team, awareness of silos and social isolation
This training will focus on leadership skills required at each of the stages of the implementation of the policy - Perparation, Communication, Responsibility of the Employee & Responsibility of the Head / Manager.
The leadership skills below will be explored during this workshop:
- Principles of team working and performance, actively fostering team collaboration and cohesion
- Consistent and clear communication – clarity on use of tools and process for communication purposes
- Creating and managing expectations in relation to goals and output – how are they measured, focus on results not managing time

Overview:

Handling challenging situations together with disagreement and resistance will also be covered.
