Senior Executive Assistant - Quality Promotion Unit (1-Year fixed term Contract)
Applications are invited from suitably qualified staff for the above one year fixed term post in the Quality Promotion Unit commencing mid December 2007.The appointee reporting to the Administrator, Quality Promotion Unit, will provide administrative support for the Unit, particularly in the areas relating to management and administration of electronic surveying systems.
The successful candidate will have excellent administrative skills at an appropriate level and will possess effective organisational, communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills in addition to having an ability to work on her/his own initiative.The ideal candidate will need to be highly motivated with an interest and ability in supporting and engaging with people.The ability to work in a challenging, dynamic and pressurised environment is also required.Excellent communication skills are essential to this post, together with strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
The candidate will be capable of demonstrating a commitment to actively engaging in the varied activities of the Quality Promotion Unit and to mastering the requirements of the position.Training will be provided in the electronic surveying system and other areas as necessary.

Salary scales:
€28,144 - €41,357(Scale A)
€29,625 - €43,533(Scale B)
