BUSINESS ANALYST (2 CONTRACT POSTS)

FINANCE OFFICE
(1-Year Wholetime Contract Posts - Grade 6A)

Applications are invited from internal applicants for the above post.

Reporting to the Head of Management Accounting the Business Analyst is a key member of the Management Accounting team in the Finance Office and is involved in a range of duties including:

The successful candidate will -

• Be a qualified accountant with at least 5 years accounting and reporting experience in a large organisation.
• Have excellent communication skills, be self motivated and be able to exercise own initiative on a wide variety of issues.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, as the role requires the post holder to have widespread interaction and create relationships with staff at all levels within the University
• Have experience ideally of effective people management skills as the jobholder may have to deputise for the Head of Management Accounting in her absence.
• Demonstrate excellent IT skills and experience of working in a systems driven environment.
• Demonstrate ability to work under pressure and with multiple deadlines.
  
  Salary scale [new entrants]:   €56,382- €72,854 depending on qualifications and experience.
