Maria Cristina Fumagalli, Professor of Literature, Film and Theatre Studies at the University of Essex, is a specialist in literatures and visual cultures of the Caribbean. Dr Bridget Wooding is the head of the Caribbean Migration and Development Observatory in Santo Domingo. Together they work on cross-border initiatives regarding culture and migration between Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
All are welcome to this public lecture, held on the occasion of Cork Discovers at UCC: www.corkdiscovers.org There will be refreshments after the talk.
