This one-day conference features keynote addresses from Graeme Milne (University of Liverpool) and Clare Pettitt (King’s College London). Please visit https://maritimespaces.wordpress.com/ to register.
Although the conference welcomes delegates from any institution, a roundtable will provide space for discussion of a new research network: the Irish Network for Nineteenth-Century Studies (INNS). The network aims to foster communication between scholars in Ireland who research the nineteenth century across a variety of geographical and cultural contexts, offer fora for the presentation of new work, and explore avenues to develop future collaborative activities.
