Ciara Chambers (of Film & Screen Media) was among a host of UCC colleagues who were presented with awards last night as "Cork Conference Ambassadors 2022".

Congratulations to all, especially Dr Jenny Butler (Study of Religions), who won an outstanding overall award presented by the Cork Convention Bureau.

Every year, the Bureau selects outstanding work by individuals who organise events that bring large numbers of international delegates to Cork. UCC staff members were commended for their admirable number of world-class conferences, including the annual masterclass of the International Association of Media and History which brought academics, filmmakers and archivists from all over the world to Cork.
