1st Year Engineering Students visit Eli Lilly
Some of the School of Engineering students from Process & Chemical, Civil, Energy, and Electrical & Electronic Engineering, who are taking PE1003 Introduction to Process & Chemical Engineering, visited Eli Lilly's plant in Dunderrow, Kinsale, Co Cork with their lecturer Dr Denis Ring, on Tuesday 4th March 2014.
Pictured are the students who visited the plant, Dr Denis Ring, and some of the Engineering Staff from Eli Lilly during the visit. The students had a comprehensive tour of the facility given by some of the Chemical Engineers working on site, and were able to gain great insight into the work of an engineer. Our thanks, as always, goes to the staff of Eli Lilly for facilitating these plant visits. They are of enormous benefit to the students.
