Professor Cryan gives McCance Medal Award Lecture at The Neonatal Society London
Professor John Cryan delivered the 2023 McCance Medal Award Lecture at The Neonatal Spring Meeting at Royal Society of Medicine London on March 10th.
Introduced by Professor Andy Ewer, President of The Neonatal Society Professor John Cryan delivered the 2023 McCance lecture The neonatal microbiome: gut-brain axis: implications for lifelong health to delegates at the Neonatal Society Spring Meeting, held in the Royal Society of Medicine premises in Wimploe Street London.
As is the tradition since 1994 Professor John Cryan wore the McCance medal while delivering the McCanice lecture.
The Neonatal Society is a leading academic society, the aim of which is to promote neonatal science it was founded in 1959 to bring together scientists and clinicians with an interest in the foetus and new-born. The object of the Society is the promotion of Neonatal Science. The Society has a well-established track record of fostering new research by the award of prizes to leading young investigators, as well as a student research bursary.
