Launch of Electrical Engineering Power Laboratory
The Electrical Engineering Power Laboratory at UCC is a testament to our commitment to fostering the next generation of engineering graduates. This state-of-the-art facility plays a pivotal role in equipping students with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the industry.
At the heart of the lab lies hands-on access to cutting-edge electrical engineering devices and systems. Students can gain practical experience to equip them for their professional careers. The Electrical Engineering Power Laboratory not only prepares students for today’s industry demands but also future-proofs their abilities.
The success of this project owes much to the involvement of our industry partners: Bourns Electronics, Collins Aerospace, Eirgrid, ESB, Moog, Neodyne, and H&MV Engineering who generously supported the initiative. Their investment allowed us to raise funding for the redevelopment of our facilities.
The lab is a significant milestone in our mission to develop the next generation of engineering graduates and sustain the talent pipeline for an ever-evolving sector.
