€7.9 million for UCC-led marine restoration project in Co. Kerry
Minister for Nature, Heritage and Biodiversity, Christopher O’Sullivan TD, recently announced €7.9 million in funding to restore and enhance some of Ireland’s most important marine habitats.

UCC Rocketry Society Flies High at International Competitions
This summer, members of UCC’s Rocketry and Space Exploration Society (RES) conducted two major firsts for Irish Rocketry: the testing of Ireland’s first liquid rocket engine of the 21st century and the launch of Ireland’s first high-powered two stage rocket.
