Success for two of our Chemistry of Pharmaceutical Compounds students with the Boston Scientific Cork GROW Programme
19 Jul 2018Michael McGrath, third-year Chemistry of Pharmaceutical Compounds student completed the GROW programme with Boston Scientific Cork in 2017 and as a result, is now completing his third-year work placement with the company. Rachael Dunne, second-year Chemistry of Pharmaceutical Compounds student is completing the GROW programme summer 2018.

14 May 2018The Graduate School in the College of SEFS offers a number of Travel Bursaries for students currently registered for a postgraduate doctoral degree (PhD). These awards enable students to present their work at an international conference or facilitate the training of students who wish to acquire skills that are essential for their academic development, but which they cannot otherwise receive in UCC.

The School of Engineering was delighted to collaborate with Qualcomm in upgrading CAD laboratory facilities for students to enjoy the modern computing technology in engineering.
07 Feb 2018Last autumn, Qualcomm sponsored the upgrading of the CAD lab in the Department where now students across Engineering will benefit of state of the art computing. Steve Halter (Senior Director of Engineering, Qualcomm San-Diego) and Paul Kelleher (Senior Director of Engineering, Qualcomm Cork) opened the upgraded lab.
