Screening and talk with the 2023 Film Artist in Residence, Maximilian Le Cain 14th Nov @6pm

We hope you can join us for a very special event on Tuesday 14th November at 6pm, when we will be marking the end of the Residency of our 2023 Film Artist, Maxmilian Le Cain.

Max will be screening Daughter of the Sun, a "personal imagining of the legend of the Cailleach Beara (the Hag of Beara) which explores themes of identity and cyclical time" and which was filmed on location on the Beara peninsula in West Cork. 

Max will give us insights into the concept of the film and how it was filmed, as well as sharing with us details of his influences and inspirations, and his career as an experimental filmmaking.
