College Road Refurbishment - Gaol Walk Closure

Cork City Council have advised us about the further scheduling of works on College Road as follows:
- Closure of Gaol Walk to all traffic between College Road and Aras na Laoi (excluded) 25/03. - 20/04/2008 (see related emails).
Also see map attached. - Completion of all footpath works and installation of new campus fences (ElecEng, FoodSci, Pharmacy) by end of April.
- Laying of new tarmac on College Road in late April / early May
- Installation of raised tables at junctions and pedestrian crossings during summer break
- Full re-opening of College Road for two-way-traffic in September 2008.
Please note that the above information is the most up to date available from the City Council and that the dates may be subject to change.
