About Resource Booker
Resource Booker, replacing ‘Web Room Bookings’, is a web application allowing UCC staff to make ad-hoc room bookings. Rooms are available for booking between 8am and 10pm each day. Rooms will be available to book until the beginning of August 2020. Information about AV equipment in each room is available in the system.

- You must comply with room bookings terms & conditions

- Exceed the maximum capacity of a room
- Remove any furniture

You can access Resource Booker via https://www.ucc.ie/en/build/roombookings/resource-booker/. To enter the system, you simply enter your username (this is your UCC email address) & password that you use to log onto your PC.
Yes, Resource Booker can be accessed within and outside the UCC network on all browsers.
Yes, Resource Booker is available from any PC or mobile device using any browser.

Resource Booker - How to Guides
Please see the Resource Booker User Guide on how to make, cancel or edit a booking.
In the 'Make a Booking' screen under 'Refine Search' make sure to select the 'Recurring' icon, this will allow you to make upto 6 bookings at the one time.

Your bookings will appear in the My bookings screen in a calendar view. This calendar view can also be viewed in day, week, month or list view. Click on an event in the calendar to view the booking details. You can edit or cancel bookings using the buttons at the bottom of the booking details window.
The Notifications screen contains a log of all notifications you have received through Resource Booker. These are filtered into various categories at the top of the screen. You can view a list of all your bookings under 'Accepted' in this section.
Room Requirements - FAQ's
‘Capacity’ refers to the number of people a room can hold. For Health & safety reasons it is important that you do not exceed the capacity of a room when making a booking. If you are unsure of the capacity of a room, please see Room Capacities section.
In the ‘Make a Booking’ screen in Resource Booker - If you want further details about an available room, Click on the information icon which appears after each room name.
In the 'Make a Booking' screen, under 'Refine Search' you have the option to select wheelchair accessible types:
Audienece - you have access to the room
Podium - you have access to the stage
If you select either of these 2 options - the list of available rooms on the left hand side of the screen then filters to match your requirements.
A room will appear as 'Unavailble' if the room has already been booked or if the booking is outside of opening hours. If you click on the 'Show Availability' button it will highlight the times in which the room is available to book.
Resource Booker is a once-off booking system and does not let you see other bookings which is why the room appears as unavailable. You can view up to date timetables on the Web Timetables section.
