Dr Mutahira Lone, the newly appointed Director of the MSc in Human Anatomy programme in UCC, congratulated the class of 2023 on their conferring at the UCC College of Medicine and Health Conferrings on 31st October 2023.
Dr Mutahira Lone, said that 'she was delighted to welcome back the graduates to UCC to celebrate their conferring ceremony together', and along with Professor Aideen Sullivan Head of Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience congratulated the graduates on the successful completion of their MSc in Human Anatomy degrees.
The very popular MSc in Human Anatomy is a well-established programme within the Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience, it plays a very important role in postgraduate Anatomy education nationally and internationally, and it continues to receive extremely positive feedback from its graduates. The MSc in Human Anatomy is full time 12-month student centred course, with a large dissection component, lectures, practicals, tutorials, seminars, and technology enhanced learning.
The MSc in Human Anatomy will be of interest to graduates of medicine, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing, science, engineering, and other fields, interested in combining a postgraduate qualification in human anatomy with their skills base. The course has a large dissection component which will provide participants with an exceptional opportunity to develop their dissection and anatomical knowledge in the FLAME laboratory, the Department's newly constructed state of the art human anatomy research laboratory.
