Cell Press Webinar: With Prof Cryan 'The Gut Brain Axis'. August 6th 2020 at 15:00 CET
24 Jul 2020

What is the role of the gut brain axis, especially over the life span of an individual? How does the microbiome affect behavior during the especially vulnerable periods of life, like infancy and old age?
Prof. John Cryan delves into this topic using his expertise on the neurological basis of stress-related neuropsychiatric disorders, including depression, anxiety and drug dependence. He works on understanding the relationship and interaction between the brain, gut and microbiome and how it applies to stress and immune-related disorders.
The event will be hosted by Dr. Sheba Agarwal-Jans, a Scientific Editor at iScience, published by Elsevier's Cell Press.
