Skellig Coast Dark Sky Festival 2024
Professor Paul Callanan of School of Physics, UCC was invited to take part in the Skellig Coast Dark Sky Festival which ran from 4th - 7th April 2024.
The purpose of Professor Callanan's visit was to give a public talk as part of the programme of events that took place for the Dark Sky Festival over the weekend.
The talk was on "All the light we cannot see" and took place at the Royal Valentia Hotel on Saturday 6th April.
Below you will see more pictures from this event, some which were taken in the Slate Quarry, a potential place for where Professor Callanan hopes to return next year to give a talk as part of the next Dark Sky Festival in 2025.
