Travel to Kinsale

Cork International Airport is the country’s second busiest airport and serves more than 50 destinations. The airport is 20-30  minutes to/from Kinsale by car. Flight information can be found at www.corkairport.com. 

The 226 and 226A buses go directly from Cork Airport to Kinsale centre (~30 minute journey, every hour, €7.60) where you are within a 10 min walk from most accommodations and the conference venue. If you take a taxi from the airport (taxi rank outside and to the right), the cost should be about €30-40.

Cork can also be reached by connecting through a number of major European airports (https://www.corkairport.com/destinations/route-map). If you choose a flight that goes into Dublin, you can get to Cork City from Dublin Airport using various airport buses; the journey typically takes less than 4 hours, and all services stop either at the Parnell Place Bus Station or across the river from the Bus Station. (For timetables see www.gobus.ie,  www.aircoach.ie, www.buseireann.ie). There are also trains from Dublin Heuston Station to Cork. The 226 bus goes directly from either the train station (Kent Station) or near the bus depot (Clontarf Street) to Kinsale centre.
