International Visiting Lecturer Programme
- This programme combines aspects of Teaching and Learning in higher education and English Language Development. It is organised by UCC Centre for the Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning (CRTL) www.ucc.ie/en/teachlearn/ UCC Language Centre and UCC International Office www.ucc.ie/international
- Participants have the option to choose a three or a six month programme during the University's semesterised year
- A concentrated version of the programme is also available as a Summer School and Winter school option
- Shorter bespoke programmes can be designed on request
Eligibility
Applicants must have:
- A role in an academic institution relating to Teaching and Learning / Student engagement
- References from your home institution
- Biography of academic achievement and professional experience to date
- A working knowledge of English
Achievements and Key Elements
Achievements
On completion of this language course scholars will receive:
- A certificate acknowledging professional development in English language proficiency
- A report on their progress in relation to language skills and systems
On completion of the Teaching and Learning course, scholars will receive:
- A certificate acknowledging professional development in integrating research, teaching and learning
- Access to links and archives that will sustain their research work in their field.
- The course also provides a pathway to the online ECTS certified programme in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.
