University Closure - Coronavirus (COVID-19) Safety Update

Following Government directives on the 12th and 24th March that higher education institutions should close, UCC’s physical campus will be closed from 12 March until 19 April. UCC remains open online, as staff work remotely. For detailed information visit our COVID19 Information and Updates website.

Important Notice

Following the most recent Irish government announcement, UCC and the University Language Centre will remain closed until 19 April.

The Language Centre will continue to operate remotely as our staff work from home.

All classes, full-time and part-time, are continuing to be delivered online.

We would ask all of our current full-time students to please continue to monitor your UCC umail accounts for updates from your teachers and the university.

Part-time students should continue to engage with their teachers and the part-time course co-ordinator.

Please continue to email us with your enquiries. We currently do not have access to our UCC phone lines.

Cambridge Delta Module 1 and 3 is offered to meet demand. DELTA is for those with a minimum of 1 year's teaching experience who wish to progress to the next level in English language teaching and management. While Cambridge's entry level qualification of CELTA is taken by those embarking on a teaching career, DELTA is widely recognised as the qualification which indicates career commitment and a high-level of competence in the field of English language teaching and management.
