Here at the Language Centre, we want you to really enjoy your time spent in UCC and to feel supported and encouraged from the first moment you thought of studying with us.

LIST OF SERVICES AVAILABLE FOR THE LANGUAGE CENTRE STUDENTS

Career Services provides information, advice and guidance to help you make decisions on learning, training and work.  The service offers confidential and impartial advice and is supported by qualified career advisors. 

UCC Chaplaincy is a multi-faith Christian chaplaincy consisting of members from different faiths and backgrounds.  Whether you belong to a faith community or not, you are always welcome to talk confidentially with a chaplain about any problems or concerns you may have.

The Disability Support Service (DSS) is committed to empowering students with disabilities and helping them achieve their academic and vocational goals in an inclusive learning environment. The DSS office provides a free and confidential service to all students with disailities who register with them.

The UCC International Office is a “one-stop shop” for international students providing information on all aspects of becoming a student in UCC: programmes of study, course application, entry requirements, visa and immigration information and help with registration, accommodation and orientation.

University College Cork Boole and other libraries offer innovative services, resources and spaces that align with your learning, teaching and research needs.

The Mardyke Arena UCC is a state-of-the-art sports and leisure facility that is free to all full-time students.

The Student Health Department is committed to serving the healthcare needs of the students of University College Cork.

Áras na Mac Léinn, the Student Centre at University College Cork is at the heart of the campus.  Its goal is to provide exceptional services and activities to the UCC community.

There are over 50 clubs in UCC offering students a diverse range of activities, both competitive and recreational.

Student IT services provide Wi-Fi access, email, Canvas and open access computer rooms to registered UCC Students.

The Skills Centre provides a dedicated, responsive and active learning space for the enhancement of study skills and is committed to further contributing to a positive and successful student experience here in UCC.

There are 105 societies in UCC with an over-arching focus to enhance the cultural, creative, social, political and intellectual experience of students in the university.
