Experience of leading research projects across institutional teams and publishing for a range of audiences. Significant background in PhD supervision and examining in Ireland and other countries. 

Types of Mentoring Offered: Panel Mentoring, Speed Mentoring Session (once off meeting around specific need)

Mentoring Topics Include: Choosing Where to Publish - Publishing Strategically,Developing an Academic Profile,Writing Grant Applications,Managing/ Leading Grants and Projects,Team Working

Approach to Mentoring: I would hope to provide mentee opportunity to discuss ambitions especially to discuss areas in need of development in the context of UCC  criteria for promotion. I believe in  the power of mentoring as a safe confidential space for colleagues to talk through and explore their agendas and examine possible priorities for development.
