Qualifications/Experience | I have been teaching English for Academic Purposes for over two decades. Prior to joining the Language Centre in UCC, I worked in various universities in Egypt including a significant chapter of 11 years as a Rhetoric and Composition Instructor at the American University in Cairo. Education: PhD in Education, University of Exeter, UK, 2018 MA in Applied Humanities, Concentration: Language & Communication, Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco, 1997, BA in English Language and Literature, major in Linguistics, Hassan II University, Morocco, 1995 Teaching Qualifications: Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (2019) DELTA (Modules 1 & 2) (2018-2019) Certificate for Blended Learning (2017) Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers (2005) |
Interests and Areas of expertise | Interests: My research interests include Identity, Social Justice in HE, TESOL and Academic Literacies.
