CONNECT researchers host the IEEE International Conference on Communications
CONNECT researchers host the IEEE ICC, from 7 to 11 June 2020. It’s the world’s largest communications conference and is held virtually.
Dr Aisling O’ Driscoll is a member of the organising committee. Prof. Dirk Pesch is executive vice chair and is chairing an Industry Executive Forum on opportunities for startups in the industrial Internet and machine-to-machine communication space. The executive forum is on Wednesday, 10th June from 16.30 to 18.00 Irish Time.
Dr Aisling O’Driscoll (CONNECT Funded Investigator, UCC) has written an opinion piece in Silicon Republic on what the COVID-19 crisis might mean for the emergence of autonomous vehicles.
Aisling is an expert in this field and works on the Blended Autonomous Vehicles research programme.
