Outreach Programmes

The School of Computer Science and Information Technology at University College Cork works very hard to provide outreach programmes to primary and secondary school pupils in Munster. Our programmes are designed to promote computer science education prior to entry into third level. We liaise closely with students, teachers and parents so we can offer programmes that are relevant to the student needs.

Join CSIT at the Postgrad Expo!

Are you considering postgraduate study and looking to transition from your undergraduate degree to a tech-related programme? The School of Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) will be at the UCC Postgrad Expo on Wednesday, 29th January from 1-5pm in the Hub.

At the expo, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the postgraduate programmes we offer, including our conversion programmes:

These conversion programmes are perfect for those wanting to transition into the tech field, regardless of your undergraduate background. Ideal for recent graduates and ICT professionals seeking a formal qualification in the dynamic ICT sector. Our conversion programmes require no prior computing knowledge.

For more information on all our postgraduate taught programmes, visit CSIT Postgraduate Programmes.

In addition to exploring our programmes, you can attend a variety of talks and workshops designed to help you navigate your postgraduate journey. For the full itinerary and to register for the event, visit here.
