UCC researchers feature prominently in the 2024 Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher List.

Aideen McCabe, a PhD student from University College Cork (UCC), has been named champion of this year’s Irish Universities Association (IUA) Three Minute Thesis competition, for her presentation on early detection methods for ovarian cancer. 

The prestigious Elsevier/Stanford University World Rankings of Researchers has named 11 academics from the School of Food and Nutritional Sciences at University College Cork experts among the global top 2% of academics most cited in their fields.

Anna Kramar, who moved to Ireland from Ukraine in 2022, graduated with a first-class honours degree in Computer Science recently. 

University College Cork (UCC) will partner in a new project “AquaUP: Aquafeed Upgraded - Enhancing Immune Function with Seaweed-modified Functional Compounds” which has received €1,325,159 in funding.
