Science Week 2024

Science Week is a nationwide celebration of science, featuring hundreds of events for people of all ages across Ireland. This year, Science Week 2024 will be held from 10-17 November.
The theme of Science Week 2024 is Harnessing the Power of Regeneration. The choices we make today will greatly impact future generations, so it is important to learn from the past to guide our future decisions.
From protecting our natural environment and adopting sustainable energy practices to embracing technological advancements and exploring new health solutions, it is time to rethink how we interact with the world and strengthen our collective capabilities.
UCC will be actively participating in and hosting a variety of exciting events during Science Week. Activities range from exploring fossils and plant science to the wonders of fermented foods, space exploration, and fun at the Marina Market. Join us in celebrating the wonders of science in our everyday lives!
