Max Planck Institute visit
Dr. Mark Kennedy, School of Physics, UCC visited the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics in Hannover, Germany from November 28th to December 1st.
This was a research visit and the purpose of the visit was to continue work Dr. Kennedy has been doing with Dr. Colin Clark in searching for new irradiated pulsar binaries.
While Dr. Kennedy was there he also gave an interesting seminar: https://seminars.aei.mpg.de/seminar/15909 on 'Using compact object binaries to constrain the neutron star/black hole mass gap'.
