Dr. Bill Dubé
Dr. Bill Dubé of KiwiFil, New Zealand visited UCC for the month of November. Dr. Dubé, who received a PhD in physics from UCC in 2018, is an accomplished engineer.
He is working with UCC researchers to build a four cavity spectroscopic instrument which will be part of a flying laboratory on an Airbus A350 passenger aircraft. Dr. Dubé had come to UCC previously in July as part of the same project. During his visits, Dr. Dubé shared his expertise with the Laser Spectroscopy group, School of Physics, UCC and saw some beautiful Cork scenery.
