UCC PLUS+ PROGRAMME PROJECT COORDINATOR, ADMISSIONS OFFICE
(2-Year wholetime Contract)
The UCC PLUS+ Programme is directed at achieving greater participation in third level education by groups, particularly school-leavers, who for socio-economic reasons have not traditionally availed of third level education.
The Programme wishes to recruit a suitable candidate to the 2-year contract position of UCC PLUS+ Project Co-ordinator to assist in the promotion, support and further development of its programme.The Co-ordinator will assist in all areas of the programme, working closely with academic and administrative staff of the University and the stakeholders involved in the programme.
The appointee will be a graduate and will have experience of dealing with young people. S/he should have an understanding of second level and third level education systems and a commitment to the development of greater opportunities for access to education and, in particular, university education. Experience of project work particularly in the area of educational disadvantage is essential. Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.The appointed candidate will require a high level of self-motivation.
Salary scale: €39,448 - €49,024[new entrants]
