Dinner & Movie (Monday, March 2):

  • Three Course Dinner: 6:00pm Jacobs on the Mall. Costs 30 Euro.
  • Movie: 8:30pm Triskel Arts Centre - Movie is Parasite the Korean film that recently won four Oscars. Identify yourself as part of UCC RSA to receive reduced movie price ticket of 9 Euro
  • Retired staff can attend the two events or the cinema only.

CHRISTMAS LUNCH for UCC Pensioners - December 2019

Cost: The cost of the lunch is €10 per person which is made possible by the significant support provided by UCC for this event.

Talk: ' "My Father's Church!" A personal portrait of St Colman's Cathedral, Cobh'
Tuesday, 14 May 2019 at 1:30pm in the Council Room
Adrain Gebruers is currently organist and carillonneur of St Colman's Cathedral, positions previously held by his father Staf.  A tutor in Carillon Performance at UCC and President Emeritus of the World Carillon Federation, he has been a guest recitalist on many of the world's major carillons.  In 2005 he received from Pope John Paul II the very special honour of being made a Papal Knight of the Order of St Gregory the Great (KSG) in recognition of his services to church music. 

Gardening Talk/Demonstration:
Malcolm Kitt will be giving a talk on gardening at 
The Pavilion Garden Centre, Ballygarvan 
for the UCC Retired Staff Association Members on
Tuesday, 23 April 2019 at 2.00 pm.
The cafe will be open if anyone would like to have lunch before the talk
(or coffee afterwards).

Hillwalk:   R.S.A. Hillwalk Group - Clifden
Alistair Allen reports: We had superb accommodation at Abbeyglen Castle Hotel, Clifden, and glorious weather for late February, with 4 peaks scaled, a walk across the sands to and around Omey Island, and visits to Kylemore Abbey. 
All participants agreed that a great time was had by all.
Our thanks to David Morgan who organised the trip.

Christmas Lunch 2018 for UCC Pensioners

The Christmas Lunch for UCC Pensioners took place in Devere Hall, Arus na
MacLeinn on Wednesday, 5 December at 12:30pm.

The Annual Mass for Pensioners/Retired Staff/Deceased Members was
held in the Honan Chapel, UCC at 11:30am prior to the Christmas Lunch.

Lecture: Rosemary Moone on "The Alexander Technique"
Learn how to release stress, stay flexible and prevent aches and pains by finding
