Approach as Mentor

My approach to mentoring is non-judgemental, mentee-led and confidential. I have benefitted from excellent mentors myself who understood both the professional and personal challenges in succeeding in academia, and so I appreciate the value of mentoring relationships. Recognising that no two situations are the same, I will be a critical friend to encourage conscious reflection and help the mentee to find creative solutions that work for them.
