UCC Commemorates 30 years of Decriminalisation of Homosexual Acts

The Gay Project in collaboration with UCC, hosted by the Deputy President and Registrar, UCC, Professor Stephen Byrne commemorated the 30th Anniversary of the decriminalisation of homosexual acts in Ireland with a tree planting ceremony at the Rainbow Walkway, University College Cork.
On Wednesday, 4 October at 11:30 staff, students and invited guests gathered at the walkway near the entrance to the O'Rahilly Building to mark this important anniversary with a beautiful, new and growing addition to UCC campus.
