UCC Celebrates International Women's Day 2022

Units across UCC join to #BreakTheBias this International Women's Day 2022.

On 4th March, ahead of IWD2022, the EDI Unit hosted a panel discussion to explore the relationship between the climate crisis and gender equality.  The conversation, hosted by Louise McSharry, included Dr Sinéad Walsh, Ireland Climate Directore, DFA; Dr Maria Kirrane, Sustainability Officer, UCC; Chikumbutso Kilembe, Rural Development Specialist, IrishAid; and Aoibheann O'Brien, CEO FoodCloud.
