Anna Kramar, who moved from Ukraine to Ireland in 2022, has graduated with first-class honors in Computer Science from University College Cork (UCC). Anna’s final year project, “Express Yourself Simply: Mobile AI for Bridging Communication Gaps,” is an app designed to assist individuals with communication difficulties. This project was published by the Association for Computing Machinery, under the supervision of Dr. Harry Nguyen.
Anna also went on to represent University College Cork at the 26th ACM International Conference on Mobile Human-Computer Interaction (MobileHCI 2024) in Melbourne, Australia, where she won first prize for her app, paper, and video presentation.
Anna’s parents traveled 36 hours to celebrate her graduation with her last week.
We look forward to witnessing your continued success in the field of computer science. Congratulations, Anna!
