Unconscious Bias with WITS

WITS are hosting a talk on Unconscious Bias in Cork on the 9th of May.

The talk will cover what unconscious bias is, why it matters and what we can do in organizations to avoid the negative impact of unconscious bias. Even the most open-minded people can have several unconscious biases. Implicit beliefs – including doubts about their abilities – can lead to missing opportunities and so stop people from reaching the top.

Ita O’Sullivan is Startup Community Manager in Bank of Ireland. She has previously worked as Design and Deployment Lead in Google. She is passionate about diversity and inclusion in startups.
