CoMH is pleased to launch the Academic Health Sciences seed funding awards (AHS Awards) to support new collaborations amongst the Academic Health Sciences System partners.

On 7^th February 2024, the Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly T.D. published a new report recommending improved working standards in Irish hospitals for Non-Consultant Hospital Doctors (NCHDs).

On 28th April 2023, Professor Helen Whelton, Head of CoMH, and CAO SSWHG, was invited to speak at the University Hospital Limerick Clinical Education & Research Centre Grand Rounds.

Prof Whelton spoke on the value of ‘Bridging the gap between academic endeavour and health service'.
