What is the Inaugural Lecture Series?
The College of Medicine & Health are pleased to announce the annual series of inaugural professorial lectures for 2021.
All new professors are given the opportunity to give an inaugural lecture. The series provides an opportunity to celebrate these achievements with each lecture representing a significant milestone in an academic's career.
How to Attend
Given the current restrictions, the inaugural lecture series will be hosted online via Teams. The usual format is a brief introduction from the Head of College of Medicine & Health, and the Dean of the relevant School, followed by a one-hour lecture from the newly appointed Professor.
Attendance at lectures is open to all University staff and students as well as to members of the public. Please see above for upcoming lectures . Additional dates will be added once confirmed and links to each lecture will be provided closer to the event.
