Heading to the Olympics!

Huge congratulations to one our Physics graduates Louise Shanahan who won a national title and trip to the Olympics after winning the 800m in the Echo Women in Sports.
With the Leevale A.C, Louise after a couple of near misses over the last few years, controlled the national senior 800 metre race throughout before kicking for home in the final straight to secure the victory in a time of 2:03.62. It says it all on her face as she crossed that finishing line. See the fabulous photos and article here:
