Tyndall Lecture for Schools 2024

The Tyndall Lecture for Schools event is back and will be held in UCC on Thursday 22nd February 2024.
The title of this event is: "Gravitational Waves: Listening to Einstein's Universe" and the lecture will be presented by Professor Martin Hendry of the University of Glasgow.
This IOP annual event is aimed at TY/Senior Cycle Students and brings an opportunity for young people across schools in Ireland to connect their classwork to modern physics.
Any queries on this event can be addressed to physics@ucc.ie.
*update*
Thank you to Professor Martin Hendry for his facinating lectures on Thursday @ 11:00am and 1:00pm and thanks to all the schools who attended this year's IOP Tyndall Lecture Series in the Aula Maxima, UCC.
