Transition Year Week 2024
From the 12th February to 16th February 2024, the School of Physics welcomed transition year students from across schools in Munster to join the Physics transition year programme 2024.
Based in the Eureka Centre, Kane Building for most of the weeks activities, the students experienced talks from our School of Physics lecturers, practicals with research staff/students and tours of UCC campus, Physics labs and Tyndall National Institute.
Thank you to all students who attended and engaged in the activities.
The School of Physics will be holding the TY week again in 2025 (keep an eye on our website for details posted later in the year!) and we look forward to welcoming the next cohort of students.
