The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering in University College Cork has a long and distinguished history, with internationally recognised degree programmes that include specialisations in Structural Engineering and Construction, Infrastructure and Environmental Engineering, Environmental Services in Buildings and Informatic Systems and Engineering Management.

Applications are invited for the above wholetime permanent position. Reporting to the Head of the Department, the appointee will teach and examine at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the area of Building Services Engineering, supervise students and engage in research. The appointed candidate will have a primary degree in Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a cognate area. Evidence of a personal contribution and commitment to excellence in both teaching and research is also required.

Salary scale [new entrants]: €35,610 - €57,847 Bar €63,389 - €83,504. Appointment on the relevant scale will be made commensurate with qualifications and experience.
