LECTURER IN SOCIAL WORK - PRACTITIONER (Two 9mth locum posts covering maternity leave)

College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences

Applications are invited for the above full-time temporary posts in the Dept. of Applied Social Studies from September 10^th 2007 to June 9^th 2008, to cover maternity leave. 

Applicants will be required to hold a professional social work qualification (CQSW or NQSW) and have a minimum of three years post-qualifying experience.Academic qualifications to MSW or BSW (first class hons) are essential.Post-holders will be expected to lecture in the areas of practice skills, family social work and/or social group work and to carry out social work tutoring, including placement visits and thesis supervision.Appointees will also be expected to work as part of a course team and will be required to undertake some administrative duties.

Salary scale [new entrants]:€35,610 - €57,847 (pro rata).
