LECTURER IN ARCHAEOLOGY (PREHISTORIC)
College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences
The Department of Archaeology has a vacancy for a full-time permanent lectureship in Prehistoric Archaeology, with a specialist interest in Mesolithic or Neolithic studies. This is an opportunity to join a growing academic department in one of Ireland’s leading universities. The successful candidate will teach Irish and European prehistory and will also deliver courses on archaeological theory. Candidates must hold a doctoral qualification and should have a promising publication record focusing on early prehistory.

Salary scale [new entrants]:€34,912 – €56,713 
There is provision for subsequent progression to a higher salary scale.
