Special Study & Associated Leave
INTRODUCTION
- The University, in exceptional circumstances may give leave of absence, where relevant, for a specified period for the purpose of delivering lectures or giving instruction or undertaking special study.
ELIGIBILITY
- Eligibility for Special Study and Associated leave is open to staff on permanent and temporary contracts.
PROCEDURES
- Application for Special Study and Associated Leave shall be made in writing to your Head of College who shall, on behalf of the University, consult with the relevant head & consider the request.
- The outcome of the request will be notified to the applicant in writing.
