Overview
On commencement of employment, a new employee will be issued with an Identification Card. In order for a staff card to be issued, all completed documentation must be returned to the People & Culture Department.
How to Apply
Staff can then apply for an ID card using the following form: Staff ID Card Application
You will be asked to upload a photo. Please note the following:
- The image should be taken in colour and show your full head with your eyes open and clearly visible (with no sunglasses, tinted glasses or hair across your face)
- You should be front facing and looking directly into the camera. Your head and/or face should not be covered unless this is for religious or medical reasons
- There should be no other person in the photograph
- It should be taken against a wall
- If you wear glasses please ensure the photo is free from reflection or glare on your glasses and the frames should not cover your eyes
- The photo is not to be a photo of a photograph
Additional Information
You can choose to have your card posted to you, or you can collect it from the People & Culture Reception
Your card can be used to access the library and print services right away. If you require access to specific offices or labs, this will be granted locally by your line manager or department administrator.
Staff cards may be activated for parking in line with the University's policy. For further information, contact the General Services office at Ext. 2265 or e-mail generalservicesadmin@ucc.ie .
